Children’s Hospitals Celebrate 2024 Community Health Improvement Week

Community Health Improvement Week highlights the efforts of hospitals and community organizations working to improve health outcomes in their communities.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Children’s Hospital Association reaffirms their commitment to support communities during this year’s Community Health Improvement Week, June 10-14. Community Health Improvement Week highlights the efforts of hospitals and community organizations working to improve health outcomes in their communities.

Throughout the week, children’s hospitals and public health organizations will engage their communities in awareness building by participating in educational events, forums, and sharing information about their pediatric health programs.

“Children’s hospitals have always been known for the exemplary care they provide inside the hospital. During Community Health Improvement Week, we celebrate the work they are doing for children and families out in the communities they serve,” said Matt Cook, CEO of Children’s Hospital Association. “Hospitals working in collaboration with schools, community-based organizations, health departments and other local partners help children and families have the opportunities and support they need to thrive. This week we shine light on these efforts to build happy and healthy communities.”
