About This Event

Join Children's Hospital Association and the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) for "Children's Health and Climate," a two-part webinar series. The series explores the ways climate change impacts children’s hospitals and pediatric health.

In this first webinar, learn about OCCHE's priorities, how children’s hospitals can address the climate crisis, and how climate affects children's health. Dr. Aparna Bole will provide examples of interventions and best practices to help children’s hospitals contribute to climate mitigation and resilience, and climate-informed clinical care.

Dr. Aparna Bole is a senior consultant for OCCHE, a former chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Environmental Health and Climate Change, and former co-chair on the Healthcare Without Harm board of directors. She is also an adjunct professor of pediatrics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and practiced as a primary care pediatrician in Cleveland, Ohio for several years.
