Sepsis occurring in children who are already hospitalized differs from sepsis presenting in the pediatric emergency department. Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes (IPSO) champions from the general care setting will review key findings from IPSO’s general care sepsis data and describe strategies for improving sepsis care and outcomes in the inpatient hospital setting.
