WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Jan. 1, Children’s Hospital Colorado CEO and President Jena Hausmann was named chair of the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) Board of Trustees. With more than two decades of experience in the health care administration space, she will lead the Board of Trustees as CHA works to end threats to children’s mental health and protect families’ access to comprehensive health care and trained pediatric care teams.

“I am honored to join the Children’s Hospital Association as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Our work to improve health care outcomes for kids and support the pediatric workforce in 2025 is already well underway,” Hausmann said. “The Children’s Hospital Association has worked to provide the best possible care for kids and supported hospitals like Children’s Hospital Colorado in doing the best work we can. This is more than just a title. Along with my colleagues on the Board, I am committed to advocating for kids in every corner of our nation, and we’re looking forward to big successes this year.”

“Jena has led Children’s Hospital Colorado with a steady hand during a challenging and unprecedented decade, and her dedication to children’s health care is important to moving forward in the fight to ensure every child gets the care they need,” said CHA President and CEO Matthew Cook. “She will guide our Board of Trustees as we build on our progress to support children’s hospitals and the work of our nation’s pediatric care teams to create brighter futures for children.”
